Abstract:

This study aimed to identify the impact of Total Quality Management practices on cost reduction within organizations. The study was conducted during the (2025/2026) academic year. It employed a descriptive-analytical approach and used a questionnaire as the primary data collection tool. The study population consisted of (15) health organizations, all of which operate in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The researcher took into account their geographical distribution to ensure full representation of the study population, and based on who was available at the time of distributing the questionnaire and who was willing to fill it out. Some restrictions prevented targeting the entire study population, so the researcher resorted to using the convenient sampling method, which amounted to (552) respondents. The researcher targeted the entire study sample of managers, department heads, and employees within the group of hospitals and health centers under study. The study reached a number of results, the most important of which is: The presence of a statistically significant impact of total quality management practices on cost reduction within the organization in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia at a significant level (α≤0.05). The study recommended a set of recommendations, the most important of which are: The need for the organization to pay attention to the costs of quality control, the costs of failure in quality control, and the need to activate the role of control and supervision within organizations and to take feedback reports into account.
